Centennial Planning Timeline

February 2003 - The Specific Plan for Centennial, describing specific details of the proposed development, was submitted to Los Angeles County for review.

March 2004 - The Notice of Preparation, the initial step in preparing the draft Environmental Impact Report (DEIR) notifying the public of the proposed development, was issued, followed by a public review and comment period.

March 2004 - Scoping meetings seeking public input on specific issues being addressed in the draft EIR were conducted by the County.

2005 - 2011 - Centennial prepares the DEIR.

Summer 2011 - The County issues the DEIR for review by public agencies and members of the community, who will have a minimum of 45 days for review and to submit comments.

Fall 2011 - The County Hearing Examiner holds two public meetings to collect public comments.

Winter 2011 - Centennial prepares responses to public comments received at the County Hearing Examiner public meetings.

Summer/Fall 2012 - The County of Los Angeles Regional Planning Commission conducts public hearings to review and certify the EIR and approve the Specific Plan and other project entitlements.

Winter 2012 - Los Angeles Board of Supervisors conducts public hearings to review and certify the EIR and approve the Specific Plan and other project entitlements.
